Once upon a time, long, long ago… Ok, really it was about 9 years ago - I met a group of amazing, supportive, intelligent, beautiful women on an online forum for destination wedding planning (fun fact about me: I got married in The Bahamas and am a total sun and vacation junkie!). What grew out of these wedding chat sessions was a friendship that has endured through years, weddings, jobs, moves, kids, and countless other life events. These friends are my rock, and I cherish my friendship them more than I think they even know <3 Unfortunately we are spread from one end of the country to the other, so I don't get to see them all that often, but when we do get to get together it's always a blast. Our families blend seamlessly, at this point our husbands are also old friends, and our kids have known each other since birth.

So, last summer when I was in Michigan visiting my grandparents, there was no way I was going to leave without making a stop in Detroit to see the G. Family (and the R. Family too! They're up next!). And this gorgeous and talented family (you may have seen him on Broadway in Jersey Boys, in his killer one man show From Broadway to Obscurity, or a multitude of other projects, and she is a super talented cookie maker/decorator) was made to be in front of the camera… so you'd better believe we did a little mini session :) Oh, and these just might be my future daughters-in-law, not that we have plans or anything ;-)
