DO YOU DO CAKE SMASH SESSIONS?
Yes! Love them! My cake smash style is similar to all my other sessions, clean, simple, focused on the details of what make your baby unique.
MY THREE-YEAR OLD IS GOING THROUGH AN UNCOOPERATIVE PHASE; WHAT IF SHE HAS A MELTDOWN OR REFUSES TO SMILE?
Not to worry! I work with MANY toddlers and preschoolers who aren’t at all pleased to be photographed. Whether they’re shy and won’t look up from your shoulder or completely off the wall screaming and running circles around everyone, I don’t sweat it. With a shy child, I get beautifully connected photos when your shy child physically connects with you or your partner. With rambunctious kids, I get images FULL of personality. I want you to look at your images and see exactly who your child is; those are the photographs you’ll cherish because they’ll take you back to the story behind that image.
WE MISSED NEWBORN PHOTOS, WHAT'S THE NEXT BEST TIME TO TAKE PICTURES OF MY LITTLE ONE?
Celebrating any milestone is a great time to take photos! Some of my favorites are when baby is around three months (great eye contact!), newly sitting, and first birthday.
I HAVE TEENAGERS, NOT LITTLE KIDS. HOW'S THIS GOING TO WORK?
I LOVE teenagers! And tweens, and pre-teens, and confident 8 year olds, and shy 4 year olds, and everything in between. Even the most reluctant teen has been known to come out of their shell around me. Let's be sure to capture this moment and who they are in this moment, because even if it doesn't feel like it now, some day you're going to want to revisit that brace face or Airpod ears and smile.
