Q. How do I prepare for a headshot or small business session? Do you have hair and makeup people we can work with?
A. For a headshot session make sure you are wearing your best “I’m the boss” look. You want to project confidence and competence. If you are leading a small business session you want all of your staff to dressed in the same - you can go from smart casual to formal, depending on your type of work and the image you would like to project. You want to ensure that hair and makeup are done, and we can absolutely help you with that by bringing in hair and makeup artists just for you, or your entire staff.
If I am photographing an interior or exterior space you will want to make sure that all clutter is cleared, pillows are fluffed, and all the details that tell the space’s story are in place.
Q. How far in advance should I book my session?
A. While we can usually accommodate weekday small business and headshot sessions fairly last minute, it is always best to secure your session date about 4-6 weeks in advance. This will give your staff adequate time to prepare, and ensure you have access to your preferred date and time.
Q. What is the cost of a headshot or small business session?
A. Headshots and small business sessions begin at $150 and include a set number of digital files, with additional digital files available for purchase. Small business sessions are available hourly, or for half or full day bookings. Ask about package rates for both company headshots and small business stories.
Q. Where does the headshot session take place?
A. We can do your headshots anywhere you’d like! Many people choose to use my light, bright, neutral studio for a clean looking background. For a modern and informal look we can do your session outdoors or at your place of business. Small business stories will take place at your work, whether it’s in an office or on-site.
Q. How long will my session take?
A. Headshot sessions are very quick, it won’t eat up a large part of your day. Small business stories are booked hourly, and we arrange our session time around your and your staff’s availability.
